KCWO have various Public Private partnerships that bring in much needed income and provide employment for the local community. These are in areas of tourism with Vipingo Ridge members enjoying guided snorkelling. A small sustainably caught fish business supplying fish to the Talisman restaurant in Nairobi and transported by Safarilink from the Vipingo ridge airstrip and an expedition enterprise in conjunction with Oceans Alive.
