Recently KCWA and The Nature Conservancy held a one day workshop on the importance of the design of Marine Protected Area networks. 

Alison Green and George Maina introduced their partners from Lamu to the Kuruwitu fishers and talks revolved around how to use the latest science to design MPA networks to maximise the ecological benefits for communities and nature. This valuable information will help to improve the design of our networks of MPAs within our Co-Management Area.
